Letter to you

Teenagers now tend to be rebellious. They feel like their necks are held by rules, imposed limitations, and host of expectations. as a teenager, i felt that way before. After all the struggles I want through because of trying to escape from them, all I can say is "comply first before you complain".
Rules and reminders are actually necessary for you, for me, and for everyone to grow up. You can't believe what I just said. Yeah, I know it; You are actually doing the same thing I did before I realized what these things do for me. We all live by these rules, limitations, whatever you may call it. This is a fact that no one else could change. As long as the stars twinkle and the sun shines, this will stay true.
It is just a matter of how we look into situations. It is just a matter of choices. Try to imagine a world without laws. Imagine you are in a world where you could do all things your heart desires. Imagine also people hurting each other just to ease the burden they feel in their hearts. How shocking it would be to see little kids stealing stuff and teenagers doing worse things. It may sound absurd but it will surely happen if the world has no laws.
These rules and what you joking say "kung anu-ano" are not here to halt your every move. They are here for you, to transform you into a glittering diamond.
Think of rules not as cage that traps you but a library that makes you think more wisely.
If your thoughts do not welcome mine, you are free to believe what you want. After sometime, when you are thinking maturely, you will see that limitations actually made you grow and be who you are. It allowed you to be a wiser and a better person.
Comparing life to a card game, fate deals the cards, but you play the hand. Everything you have on your hand is due to fate; however every card that you lay down on the table is your choice. No matter how rough fate way before us, how overpowering rules and limitations are, these are not excuses to give up. It is our mind that teach us what to do, and it is what is inside the heart that teaches us how to live.
Life is what you make it.
